As the precursor to the current Create a Sim tool to generate avatars , this system meant a giant quality leap regarding what we had seen to date. The level of detail of the physical traits was greatly improved, expanding the options for men and women, depending on the sex and age of the characters.
In turn, we've also got more chances to choose between different clothing items, with more clothes to define our Sim's style without needing to purchase them from any store because they're always available. Hairstyles can also be defined depending on the clothes. However, the system isn't as advanced as the tool available in The Sims 4, which even allows us to choose traits of our personality.
Another new noteworthy feature can be found in the game's map, which was expanded to bring it closer to a sandbox game of the likes of Grand Theft Auto.
Now, you can explore the entire map without intermediate loading processes, as well as allowing the rest of the Sims that aren't controlled by the player to continue their lives thanks to the Story Progression option.
This will help them to live autonomously, growing, getting married, getting a job Not only is it terrible, but it cast a huge shadow over everything that could possibly look good in the game. Gameplay: As mentioned before, the game takes elements from two completely different simulation games and mixes them together.
But they take the worst elements of each one. The veterinary job implies a few simple mini-games you'll have to perform over and over again. It's not innovative and the whole game UI is terrible. I use the stylus a bit too much to be comfortable to play. Sound: Usually the soundtrack is great in The Sims games. That's not the case here.
With a pretty dull soundtrack and low-quality melodies. Remember how in there was an expansion pack for The Sims called Unleashed? It had pets in it - really oddly animated pets. Well, here's your chance to buy it again, this time for The Sims 2.
Also, for no reason at all, Hilary Duff is in it! Because kids like Hilary Duff! To be fair, this is probably the expansion pack Maxis were least unwilling to make -in fact it probably only required minimal whipping at the hands of EA to produce.
This enthusiastic approach to The Sims 2: Pets has resulted in a decent release, and looking past the mindless inclusion of Simlish covers of Pussycat Dolls songs "flerpdee wah wah krakawaka woo woo" being an improvement over their actual lyrics , there's actually a lot of genuinely great content to be had.
The Sims 2 engine, which no longer restricts movement to tiles, means that dogs and cats can move about with a modicum of realism instead of running only at degree angles like some demented autistic creature. You can now take care of pets both in real life and the game.
Sims 2 Pets is a game expansion pack for everyone's favorite simulation game. It is developed by Electronic Arts and features a vast number of animal breeds for you to take care of! Your pets can become your best friends in the Sims game and you can even train them to do jobs! There are 3 careers they can choose from: showbiz, security, and services. Having them do jobs will also help you boost your income. In this game feature, your pets will be picked up from your car and whisked away for a certain period of time.
When they come back, expect an increase in your bank account. Continue training your pets until they get promoted in their respective jobs. This comes with a higher income! Of course, you can als o train them to do tricks just like in a normal owner and pet relationship. These are the things that usually come with all the addons be it a stuff pack or a full blown expansion.
Brindleton Bay is the new town that you get to see and my god, it looks beautiful. The beach is finally here, been a long time waiting for something like this. You also can own Vet Clinics as a business along with all the other plethora of options.
After the city Living expansion we have been treated with yet another town that is bristling with life. Gone are the days where each town looked like a ghost town. The houses are beautifully created and the town from afar looks stunning. You will create your own houses but the designers have a done an excellent job with the houses. BTW you can chase a pack of birds to trigger a mini-game, pets, they are so adorable and cute.
Brindleton Bay, the town itself is worth a lot in our opinion. The Sims themselves are perfect as well, all attractive people. But once you get in then you will be locked din for hours.
